Energy Monitoring Time Line Summary

Energy MonitoringPre-installation Energy Monitoring of the existing system started Oct. 8, 2016. The existing system operated running two aged evaporator coils, with 3 Non ECM Motors each and no evaporator fan controls. Evaporator fans running 24/7 365.

 

The two existing evaporator coils were removed on Oct. 31, 2016 and replaced with two RC 30 Reihl Coils™ each with ECM Motors and no Evaporator Fan Controls.

Oct. 31, 2016 : ECM motors set to run at full speed.

Evap. circuit savings of- 64.46%

Cond. Circuit savings of- 34.29%

Total system savings of- 47.96%


 Nov. 10, 2016: Fan controls were installed so that the following would happen;

When Compressor / Condenser  is running the Orange Motors ECM fans would be running full RPM

When Compressor / Condenser  is not running the Orange Motors ECM Fans would Reduce RPM by 750 RPM


Nov. 10, 2016 : ECM motors set and cycling on Greenwize control.

Evap. circuit savings of- 70.20%

Cond. Circuit savings of- 49.78%

Total system savings of- 59.07%


Nov. 14, 2016 : Fan controls left in place, added our Energy Savings Measure and the following happens ( Off Control)

When Compressor / Condenser is running the Orange Motors ECM fans run full RPM

When Compressor / Condenser is not running the Orange Motors ECM Fans reduce RPM by 750 RPM

Now when the Box temperature is at 37°F ECM Motors shut down completely until the temperature raises to 39°F –  then turns back on, running at 750 RPM.
